📋 Description
• Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to Spanish-speaking and bilingual K-12 students with disabilities across partner school districts in Texas • Ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate services aligned with IEPs, IDEA, and Texas Education Code • Deliver high-quality evaluations and interventions that reflect each student's language background and communication needs • Conduct virtual bilingual speech and language evaluations • Provide direct speech-language services in Spanish and/or English as aligned with student needs and IEPs • Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, and related service providers
🎯 Requirements
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders • Valid Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) • Texas Educator Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology (SBEC) preferred if working with public schools • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency required • Minimum of 2 years of school-based SLP experience preferred • Prior experience working with bilingual or emergent bilingual student populations preferred • Teletherapy experience strongly preferred
