📋 Description
• Act as the technical sales lead throughout the pre-sales process • Lead technical discussions with customers and prospects • Become an expert in Proofpoint’s Human & Agent-centric Security Platform, including Collaboration Security, Data Protection, Security Awareness, and Governance • Collaborate with Eastern Europe Account Managers to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies • Own the technical sales process, including discovery, proposals, presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept • Design and champion security solutions, including integrations with third-party products • Demonstrate technical wins and business value • Build customer relationships, credibility, and trust outside the sales cycle • Provide threat updates, Customer Business Reviews, and roadmap updates • Provide customer insight and feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering • Present at or attend industry events and trade shows when required
🎯 Requirements
• Hands-on experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, senior-level product support, or professional services • Preferably experience in the cybersecurity industry • Proven experience with enterprise collaboration solutions, advanced persistent threats / SecOps, data security, network infrastructure, or cloud infrastructure • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Comfortable presenting to technical staff and C-suite executives • Proactive, able to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude • Fluency in English and Hungarian • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred • CISSP or another security industry certification preferred
