📋 Description

• Do the operator’s job for two to four weeks at the start of an engagement • Reach working fluency in new domains such as insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, and asset flow • Redesign business functions from first principles with operators and Forward Deployed Executives • Ship production GenAI systems, including LLM applications, agentic workflows, retrieval and structured-extraction pipelines, and related services • Build evaluation harnesses and define, instrument, and measure system performance against business KPIs • Write production code across backend services, data pipelines, and AI layers using Python and TypeScript • Deploy containerized, observable, and maintainable systems on AWS, or GCP/Azure where required • Feed learnings from engagements back into industry blueprints • Work with Forward Deployed Executives to deliver Business Unit KPI outcomes • Drive adoption and manage change as part of the engineering role • Collaborate with customer engineers, operators, and executives; shape commitments before delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building software, a substantial share of it writing production code you were accountable for. You are hands-on today and intend to stay that way. • Willingness to spend weeks doing the operator’s job before writing code • Demonstrated ability to become conversant in an unfamiliar business function quickly • Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production • Experience building or owning an evaluation suite for a non-deterministic system • Strong engineering fundamentals; productivity in unfamiliar codebases or languages • Python and/or TypeScript proficiency • Cloud-native delivery on AWS, including containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, and CI/CD • Ability to hold redesign conversations with BU heads and scoping conversations with CTOs • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership • Solid AI/ML foundations and understanding of model failure modes • Strong hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork • Fluent English, written and spoken
