📋 Description

• We're looking for a Software Engineer II to join our backend team and help build the systems that power Pulley's product experience. • This is a growth-focused role where you'll work on backend services, data models, and APIs while developing your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. • As a Software Engineer II, you'll contribute to well-defined projects, implement backend features, and work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in system design and data persistence. • You'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful features that directly impact thousands of startup founders while growing your technical expertise. • This role is perfect for someone who has solid backend fundamentals, is eager to learn and grow, and wants to contribute to systems that power company-building at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of backend software engineering experience in production environments • Proficiency in Go, with experience building web services • Understanding of database fundamentals, SQL, and basic data modeling concepts • Familiarity with API development and working with frontend teams • Interest in learning about distributed systems and performance optimization • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from senior team members • Bonus: Some exposure to fintech, legaltech, or other domains with complex data requirements
