📋 Description

• Own product quality across the entire software development lifecycle • Responsible for reducing defects, preventing recurring issues, improving engineering behavior • Ensure quality is built into every stage of development • Act as quality authority within Engineering, driving accountability, enforcing quality processes • Use Claude Code daily to analyze Jira issues, incidents, support tickets, and production defects • Trace issues to root causes within the codebase using Claude Code • Identify recurring defect patterns and categorize root causes • Review code changes and identify opportunities to prevent future defects • Generate, review, and improve Playwright and other automated test suites • Identify missing edge cases and testing gaps • Analyze production incidents, customer-reported defects, and engineering issues • Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis activities

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, quality engineering, SDET, engineering excellence, or related technical leadership roles • Strong hands-on programming experience in Java and/or Python • Ability to read, review, debug, and analyze production code • Deep understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and incident analysis • Hands-on expertise using Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI development tools • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills • Willingness and ability to work core India business hours, plus collaborate with global teams
