📋 Description

• Maintain and extend Python backend systems for an AI-powered research and analysis platform • Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines from external sources, including reviews and data warehouses, into the application layer • Integrate LLMs and agents into existing backend workflows • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and full-stack team members to ship features end-to-end • Ensure backend services meet production standards for reliability, performance, and data integrity • Contribute to architectural decisions spanning backend, data, and AI layers • Own end-to-end backend technical delivery with minimal oversight • Translate client research workflows and stakeholder requirements into scalable backend solutions • Work in a highly client-facing consulting role with non-technical stakeholders • Potentially grow into a technical lead role

🎯 Requirements

• Lead-level experience in Python backend engineering (~8+ years) • Proven experience translating business processes into technical requirements or solution designs, ideally in a consulting or client-facing delivery role • Experience owning a roadmap and prioritizing competing initiatives by feasibility, ROI, and readiness • Demonstrated stakeholder management with technical teams and non-technical business leaders • Experience working in structured, production environments • Fluent English at native or near-native level • Strong backend engineering skills • Deep knowledge of LLMs and agentic systems • Strong understanding of generative AI technical specifications, models, and frameworks • Ability to design multi-step agent workflows and make informed LLM deployment decisions • Candidates must work remotely from Brazil or be in the Buenos Aires metro area in Argentina • High level of spoken English and proficiency in reading and writing professional English
