📋 Description

• Perform and review balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations. • Prepare, analyze, and record journal entries and provisions. • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. • Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages. • Ensure the proper accounting classification of revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity. • Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and evidence. • Perform accounting, control, and reconciliation activities for fixed assets, where applicable. • Prepare bank, accounting, intercompany, payroll, tax, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations. • Process manual, recurring, and closing journal entries. • Prepare supporting schedules and audit documentation. • Monitor outstanding reconciliation items and ensure they are resolved. • Participate in projects involving the implementation or enhancement of financial and accounting systems. • Meet the company’s close schedules and defined service levels.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in accounting activities. • Knowledge of local accounting standards; knowledge of IFRS is preferred. • Fluent English, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a corporate environment. • Advanced Spanish, with the ability to interact professionally with teams, clients, or business units in Latin America. • Availability to work in a multicultural environment and interact with international teams. • Accounting reconciliations. • Journal entries and closing routines. • General ledger and report preparation. • Excel, including analytical functions, pivot tables, and data processing. • ERP and/or financial systems.
