QIMA is a global quality assurance and compliance company that provides testing, inspections, audits, certifications, laboratory services and supply-chain due diligence for consumer products, food/agri commodities and life sciences. It combines a global network of on-the-ground inspectors and laboratories with digital tools (including QIMAone SaaS) and offers services such as chemical and microbiological testing, pre-shipment inspections, supplier audits, sustainability/ESG solutions, pre-clinical and bioanalytical testing, and cybersecurity advisory and training. QIMA helps businesses ensure product safety, regulatory compliance and supply-chain transparency across international markets.

📋 Description

• Conduct rigorous discovery and user research for QIMA’s diverse global client base • Build working, clickable, and where useful code-backed prototypes for engineering • Use prototypes and evidence to resolve ambiguity and accelerate delivery • Set a high standard for client digital experience, usability, detail, and friction reduction • Build fluency in QIMA’s divisions, business context, revenue drivers, and growth constraints • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, finance, engineering, and cross-divisional stakeholders • Design experiences for both occasional users and intensive expert users • Design a modular client digital experience that scales across divisions and services • Break complex problems into iterative roadmap increments and clear delivery blockers • Define and track client-experience metrics, including portal adoption, task completion, time-to-insight, and retention signals • Use data to prioritise decisions and connect design work to business outcomes • Embed AI into discovery, delivery, prototyping, and broader design-team workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Typically around 7 years of significant experience in UX research, product design, or directly transferable work • Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder design problems from discovery through working prototype • Portfolio showing working prototypes, not only polished mockups • Experience where prototypes directly shaped engineering decisions or unblocked builds • Demonstrated UX craft comparable to leading consumer and enterprise products • High-growth or scale-up experience, including startup speed and designing for scale • High agency, ownership, initiative, and accountability for outcomes • Bias for action and an iterative prototype-test-learn-adjust mindset • Comfort with interactive Figma features, no-code or low-code prototyping tools, or basic front-end code • Analytical ability to use imperfect data to support design decisions • Hands-on experience across client interviews, data gathering, and the full design workflow • Demonstrably advanced AI-augmented design practices and daily use of AI tools • Full professional proficiency in English with clear written and verbal communication • Based anywhere in Europe • Paris or London preferred; hybrid work applies there, while candidates elsewhere in Europe are encouraged to apply

🏖️ Benefits

• Flexible location • Hybrid work • Flexible core hours • Remote work availability • Confidential handling of information according to EEO guidelines
