📋 Description

• Direct AI agents to design, build, and operate secure, reliable payment services for salons, including checkout, booking deposits, no-show fees, tips, refunds, reconciliation, and settlement • Own integrations with salon management and booking platforms, payment providers, financial partners, and other third-party systems • Write specifications, acceptance criteria, test suites, and evals defining completion • Design and run the agentic development workflow, including agent responsibilities, prompts, context, verification, merging, and deployment • Build AI-powered and agentic products for salons and internal teams using retrieval, tool calling, and controlled actions • Implement permissions, human approvals, guardrails, observability, audit trails, and fallbacks for agents handling money, client data, or calendars • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in speed, reliability, security, and cost • Collaborate with product, operations, salon partners, and booking-platform partners to drive growth for beauty businesses • Verify results through tests, evals, and observability rather than manual code review

🎯 Requirements

• Already build with AI agents as the default way of working • Proven experience shipping production-grade software through AI coding agents • Production software experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment • Fluency in English is required • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Hands-on production experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems • Solid knowledge of databases, data modelling, and database design • Experience with payment providers, booking or POS systems, or complex third-party integrations • Understanding of AI-system risks, including hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, non-deterministic behaviour, and unsafe tool execution, plus mitigation methods • Experience with automated testing, evals, observability, debugging, and performance optimisation • Nice to have: experience in payments, fintech, beauty and wellness tech, booking platforms, or high-growth marketplaces • Nice to have: experience with payment gateways, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, or chargeback systems • Nice to have: experience building agents operating on APIs, databases, internal tools, or operational workflows • Nice to have: familiarity with model evaluation, prompt and context management, AI observability, guardrails, or LLM cost optimisation • Nice to have: experience running multiple coding agents in parallel or building supporting tooling and CI • Nice to have: exposure to vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, or retrieval systems • Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms, containerised services, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code • Nice to have: familiarity with PCI DSS, GDPR, and secure development practices
