📋 Description

• Build end-to-end data solutions from business need through production • Ingest data into Snowflake and expose it through Trino and Metabase • Automate data solutions for business-critical use cases • Turn recurring manual requests into reusable, documented, low-maintenance building blocks • Run duty and Office Hours for data consumers • Qualify incoming data requests and determine whether they require quick fixes, proper solutions, or platform changes • Define data contracts, tests, and SLAs • Investigate pipeline incidents through root cause • Manage, deploy, and maintain Trino, Metabase, Airflow, OpenMetadata, and other open-source tools • Keep the Data Platform stack stable for production use cases • Collaborate with the Data Platform team and report to the Data Platform team lead

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data or Software Engineering • Experience shipping and operating data pipelines and data services in production • Strong Python skills • Understanding of data warehouses, query engines, and orchestrators • Experience running open-source data tools for orchestration, query engines, and BI • Airflow and Snowflake experience preferred • Experience debugging underlying infrastructure • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS preferred • Comfortable with Git-based workflows and CI/CD • Ability to take projects from rough requirements to shipped solutions • Experience using AI tools daily in engineering work, including coding agents and LLM-based automation • Strong communication skills and ability to translate between business needs and technical constraints • Fluent English
