📋 Description

• Support the QA team in quality assurance activities for systems, websites, and applications • Assist with executing manual and functional tests • Support the creation and maintenance of test scenarios and test cases • Perform basic tests to verify compliance with requirements and acceptance criteria • Identify unexpected behavior, inconsistencies, and potential defects • Support bug reporting, including the issue, reproduction steps, expected result, and actual result • Collect test evidence, such as screenshots and videos • Assist with retesting after bug fixes • Support regression testing • Track the squad’s stories and tasks using Jira or similar tools • Participate in squad ceremonies, such as Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives • Work with QAs, developers, Product Owners, and other squad members • Support the organization and maintenance of test documentation • Learn and apply basic software quality and development lifecycle concepts • Develop knowledge of testing tools and techniques • Communicate questions, issues, and impediments to the responsible QA or team • Contribute to a culture in which quality is the responsibility of the entire squad

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a technical program or early-stage undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Interest in technology, software development, and quality • Basic knowledge of computers and digital tools • Familiarity with websites and applications • Basic programming logic skills are a plus • Basic knowledge of software development is a plus • Academic or personal experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other programming languages is desirable but not required • Knowledge of or experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar tools is a plus • Basic knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or agile methodologies is a plus • Introductory courses related to software testing, programming, technology, or quality will be valued • Attention to detail • Curiosity • Logical thinking • Organization • Communication • Proactivity • Teamwork • Responsibility and commitment to assigned activities and schedules • Willingness to learn and develop a career in technology
