📋 Description

• Serve as the technical infrastructure reference for the Data and AI function • Define, standardize, and maintain the infrastructure for data and AI projects across the portfolio • Provision and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and processing environments with a focus on scalability and availability • Administer cloud-based storage, processing, and data orchestration services • Adjust resource sizing according to each project’s demand • Maintain version-controlled, reproducible infrastructure as code across development, staging, and production environments • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data pipeline releases • Automate deployments, backups, restores, and maintenance activities • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting, and resolve infrastructure incidents • Apply access controls, encryption, and secrets management in accordance with best practices and Brazil’s LGPD data protection law • Monitor and optimize cloud costs by project using FinOps practices • Document standards, reference guides, and reusable templates • Participate in data architecture design alongside architects and engineers • Execute cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, lifecycle policies, reserved capacity, and shutting down idle resources • Support Sales and Project teams with sizing and cost estimates for new proposals

🎯 Requirements

• Solid, proven experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure, with hands-on work in production environments • Direct experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure on real-world projects, including environment sizing, provisioning, and operations • Experience supporting Data, AI, and Analytics teams, with an understanding of data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption • Experience managing the full lifecycle, from infrastructure design through production operations • Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation • CI/CD using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or equivalent tools • Docker and orchestration using ECS or Kubernetes (EKS) • Python or Shell scripting • Git and collaborative workflows • Knowledge of DNS, load balancing, certificates, VPNs, and peering • Experience with at least one observability tool: CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, ELK, or similar • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain cloud concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications in Solutions Architecture, DevOps Engineering, or Data Engineering are a plus • Technical courses, bootcamps, and self-directed learning demonstrated through practical experience will be considered • Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or dbt is a plus • Experience with Apache Spark is a plus • Experience with data governance and data catalogs is a plus • Established FinOps practice and active cloud cost management experience are a plus • Experience in consulting, software factories, or service providers is a plus • Experience migrating on-premises data environments to the cloud is a plus • Participation in technical communities, content creation, or open-source projects is a plus
