📋 Description

• Develop and direct important projects or field assignments with complex features. • Includes performing engineering studies, proposing solutions to engineering-related problems, and developing models for improvement programs. • Perform system analysis using operational criteria and tools (CYME, EMS) • Works closely with system study engineer and project scheduler to ensure accuracy of long-term shutdown schedule. • Organizes and leads huddle and shutdown schedule review meetings. • Organizes and leads cross-function team meetings especially for complex and back-to-back shutdowns in the same area/regions. • Champions continuous improvement (CI) initiatives focused on shutdown optimization and coordination of resources.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology • 4 years of electric utility transmission and substation planning • Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline • Experience maintaining State Estimator technical applications • Familiarity with Energy Management System (EMS) including State Estimator (SE), Contingency Analysis (CA), and N-1 conditions operating practices • Familiar with PSSE or TARA applications • Ability to provide operational feedback to improve EMS system models based on real-time measurements.
