📋 Description

• Build and deploy AI applications, agents, custom skills, automated workflows, and internal applications • Architect, code, deploy, and maintain agents, custom skills, automated workflows, and internal applications on IT- and DevOps-managed environments • Select tooling and build a knowledge-management system with content ownership, review cadence, refresh audits, deprecation, and findability across internal and customer-facing content • Build a role-specific technical onboarding curriculum for the CTO organization • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across Customer Success, Support, Product, and the wider CTO organization • Connect business systems, data warehouses, APIs, and vector stores to support reliable retrieval and automation • Apply software engineering practices such as versioning, output validation, error handling, and monitoring to prompts, skills, and multi-agent workflows • Measure solution usage and outcomes, run enablement, write practical guidance, and increase adoption • Define technical and hosting requirements with IT and DevOps • Deploy within corporate security and data-governance standards and help establish practical AI-use standards at Quantum Machines • Collaborate with the Marketing AI builder to share components and avoid duplicated work

🎯 Requirements

• A builder who can take ownership of greenfield problems, assess friction points, push back on low-value requests, and ship real solutions • Ability to think in system architecture, data flow, and security while measuring operational impact • Active work with emerging AI models, SDKs, vector databases, and agent frameworks • Ability to translate non-technical team workflows into usable solutions and communicate requirements with IT and Security • Ability to structure messy expert knowledge into usable systems • 3+ years of hands-on software development, application engineering, or data engineering experience with production tools shipped • Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript, including reading, debugging, and auditing code • Practical experience building with LLMs, including prompt and context design, agents or agentic workflows, and integrating models into real systems through APIs • Solid foundation in SQL and data modelling, REST APIs, and webhooks • Experience with a data warehouse such as Snowflake • Infrastructure and security literacy sufficient to articulate requirements to IT and DevOps and build safely within guidelines • Fluent English, written and verbal • Advantage: RAG and retrieval systems, vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, or Chroma, or agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI • Advantage: Knowledge base and documentation platforms such as Confluence, Guru, or Document360 • Advantage: Business systems including Salesforce, Jira, Slack, and Microsoft 365, plus automation engines such as Workato, n8n, or Make • Academic background in Computer Science or Software Engineering is advantageous • Prior experience in a B2B deep-tech, hardware, or scientific-instrumentation company is advantageous
