📋 Description
• Enabling the monthly accounting close process across the group's entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to closing deadlines. • Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules in accordance with IFRS requirements. • Perform intercompany reconciliations and support resolution of discrepancies across multiple entities. • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure transactions are accurately recorded. • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency and quality of accounting operations. • Support external and internal audits by preparing documentation, schedules, and responding to audit requests. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages. • Provide technical accounting support and guidance to cross-functional stakeholders. • Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and other business teams to improve financial processes and reporting quality. • Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, internal controls, and finance procedures. • Work closely with external service providers (BPOs and advisors) to ensure accurate and timely accounting deliverables.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA (or equivalent professional accounting qualification) • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements • Experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation • Experience implementing accounting best practices and process improvements • High proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process automation • Experience in fintech, financial services, banking, leasing, or multinational environments is highly desirable • Previous experience at a Big Four accounting firm is a plus • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • A growth mindset and the ambition to develop quickly in a fast-paced environment • Enthusiasm for solving problems, and interest in navigating high complexity • A proactive approach to improving processes, reducing manual work, and enhancing operational efficiency • Experience working with finance data workflows and automation initiatives within accounting and reporting processes.
