📋 Description

• Provide legal advisory to all internal departments on labor and social security matters; • Offer preventive and consultative guidance and support to business areas on these topics; • Manage the portfolio of administrative and judicial cases, closely monitoring and aligning strategies with partner law firms; • Oversee the financial management of indemnities, court fees and judicial deposits; • Manage controls for provisions, contingencies, judicial guarantees and the processing of court authorizations (alvarás); • Manage the schedule of hearings and other legal proceedings, preparing company representatives and witnesses, and occasionally acting as the company’s representative in strategic cases; • Coordinate the collection of supporting evidence and materials for the group's defense; • Maintain and update the legal management system; • Prepare reports and management presentations for the legal department; • Implement actions aimed at preventing/reducing liabilities, such as training for internal teams; • Monitor and/or request the opening of police investigations and internal disciplinary inquiries; • Advise on and draft legal documents including drafts, petitions, deeds, contracts, agreements, powers of attorney, correspondence, and any other legal documentation required by the group related to labor and social security matters.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, in an in-house legal department or at a law firm; • Knowledge of labor law (labor litigation), regulatory and social security matters; • Law degree (LL.B., J.D. or equivalent).
