📋 Description
• Handle all aspects of litigation • Manage own case load • Review correspondence, and files to determine suit appropriateness • Prepare for and conduct trials • Represent clients in pre-judgment and post-judgment matters • Provide analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks • Attend court hearings throughout the State of Maryland
🎯 Requirements
• Between one and five years’ experience • Background in civil litigation • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws • Experience in collection law and/or significant courtroom experience preferred • Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations • Ability to draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery, stipulations, etc. • Knowledge in Bankruptcy Law, Foreclosure Law or the FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is a plus • Licensed to practice law in Maryland
