📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership, technical management, and operational oversight for MEP engineering practice. • Drive technical excellence and ensure compliance across multidisciplinary engineering deliverables. • Lead departmental growth and maintain high standards for project execution. • Mentor and manage the MEP engineering department, including discipline leads across Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing functions. • Conduct evaluations, establish technical standards, and drive professional development initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering is strictly required. • 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in MEP design, facility infrastructure, or architectural engineering consulting. • 5+ years in a direct management or director-level leadership role managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, budgets, and project schedules. • Deep technical expertise in medium- and low-voltage electrical design, utility service coordination, standby power systems, short-circuit/coordination studies, and protective relaying. • Strong working knowledge of integrated mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and fire protection systems. • Advanced knowledge of national building codes, energy codes, and electrical standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IBC). • Demonstrated proficiency with industry tools, including BIM/Revit, AutoCAD, electrical calculation software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower), and energy modeling software.
