📋 Description

• Work within a multiproduct ecosystem involving integrations, legacy systems, and critical workflows that shape the customer experience • Lead end-to-end backend solutions • Support technical decisions by balancing security, consistency, scalability, and production operations • Develop and evolve backend solutions to address business and user needs • Turn loosely defined problems into viable deliverables in partnership with engineering, product, and design • Propose and implement solutions to improve account and user management on the RD Station platform • Participate in code reviews and apply engineering best practices and agile methodologies • Contribute to scalability and innovation projects • Collaborate with technical leaders, product managers, designers, and fellow developers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and backend development • Good understanding of software architecture, APIs, and event-driven architecture • Knowledge of transactional databases (SQL or NoSQL) • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog • Practical experience with engineering best practices, including SOLID, design patterns, and code reviews • Experience migrating and evolving legacy systems • Practical use of AI in development, with sound judgment and technical responsibility • Ownership and accountability for deliverables, autonomy and alignment in an agile environment, and a collaborative approach to teamwork • Nice to have: experience working on platform, support, or complex system migration teams • Nice to have: experience with platforms shared by multiple products • Nice to have: knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar tools • Nice to have: familiarity with Python, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, Java, or frontend development
