📋 Description

• Own features end-to-end from problem understanding and solution design through production release and improvement • Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services, APIs, and data models • Scope and decompose work, make architectural decisions, and present solutions to the team • Challenge requirements and technical approaches to identify better, simpler, or more efficient solutions • Build new functionality and improve the existing codebase, including test coverage • Use data, logs, and customer feedback to investigate problems and guide product and technical decisions • Use AI tools for development, refactoring, code review, testing, documentation, and investigation • Automate repetitive work and strengthen observability, alerting, and release processes • Participate in on-call and support rotations, investigate incidents and customer-reported issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions • Prepare release plans and manage deployments • Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, iOS, Android, Support, and other teams • Improve engineering practices, propose initiatives, and share knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including ownership of complex features or services end-to-end • Strong proficiency in PHP and Symfony • Solid knowledge of system and API design, design patterns, clean code practices, and DDD • Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and IAM • Familiarity with Kubernetes and serverless architectures • Strong debugging and profiling skills with Xdebug and Blackfire • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and ExpressJS or NestJS • Systematic daily use of AI in development workflow, including validating AI output • Good understanding of application security and OWASP principles • Autonomous, product-minded approach to technical decision-making and production delivery
