📋 Description

• Ensure the AI portfolio runs reliably and performs well • Monitor AI workloads and infrastructure • Plan capacity and support scaling initiatives • Ensure systems remain stable as the company grows • Continuously deliver SageMaker models following AWS best practices • Assist AI engineers with productionizing AI workloads end-to-end • Support workflows from code through container builds and rollouts • Use optimal deployment strategies in a regulated healthcare environment • Operate and improve cloud-native AI infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Bedrock, SageMaker, ClearML, Datadog, LangFuse, OTEL, and GitHub Actions • Bridge applications and platform teams through cross-functional collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with AWS: CloudFormation, IAM, ECR, SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, KMS • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production, including kustomize, HPA, and KEDA-based autoscaling • Experience deploying SageMaker models, creating custom inference containers and endpoints, provisioning, autoscaling, and blue/green rollouts • Familiarity with observability and LLMOps best practices and solutions, including Datadog, Langfuse, LLM/GenAI tracing, OTel, and CloudWatch • Proficiency in Python, specifically FastAPI and async task management • Knowledge of ML/LLM GPU inference on EKS, GPU-backed instances, and Nvidia driver/plugin • Ability to own technical decisions and collaborate directly with other teams • Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution skills • Ability to remain calm under stress and work through issues step by step • Preference for clear technical documentation and asynchronous communication • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-domain experts and extract information through well-formed questions • At least English language proficiency • Bonus: healthcare or regulated-domain experience, such as ISO 27001 or C5 • Bonus: self-hosting/home lab experience • Bonus: Nvidia Triton/vLLM or similar • Bonus: MLflow, Kubeflow, ClearML, DVC, or Vertex AI • Bonus: Slack and GitHub automations
