📋 Description

• Build Recare's Operator, an agent that transfers AI-generated clinical output into hospital systems by operating existing software • Expand the capabilities of the Windows desktop application and make it reliable in production • Build and improve integrations between hospital systems and Recare products • Implement and harden computer-use automation flows, including edge cases, recovery, and safety rails • Partner with clinical domain experts to turn ambiguous workflows into shippable plans and robust implementations • Contribute across the stack as needed, including the Go-based gateway • Build observability foundations with logs, metrics, and traces • Deploy software and use telemetry to identify and fix issues

🎯 Requirements

• Professional backend experience in Go, Python, or TypeScript • Production software that you have shipped and owned • Experience with integration-heavy systems, including APIs, workflows, data models, authentication, and real-world edge cases • Practical focus on reliability, monitoring, debugging, test coverage, and operability • Interest in using AI coding agents daily and opinions on their effective use • Ambition and frustration tolerance • Confident communication in English • Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Operations • German language skills are nice to have • Experience with Electron or TypeScript on the desktop side is nice to have • Experience with healthcare IT systems (HIS, KIS, PVS, EMR) and interoperability standards such as HL7 v2 or FHIR is nice to have • Legal authorization to work in Germany/the EU
