📋 Description

• Own timely and accurate delivery of APJ month-end close • Ensure reconciliations, journals, and schedules meet deadlines • Present finalized outputs for Senior Manager review and approval • Act as day-to-day point of contact for senior management and external providers • Manage outsourced provider performance against SLAs and KPIs • Resolve issues proactively and escalate where required • Oversee preparation and submission of statutory financial statements • Coordinate audits and ensure local compliance requirements are met • Ensure compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements • Manage APJ Accountant • Ensure clear prioritization, accountability, and delivery standards • Consolidate APJ intercompany positions and cash requirements • Provide forward-looking visibility for the quarter plus 60 days • Prepare recommendations on settlements and funding for Senior Manager review • Review indirect tax returns and supporting workbooks • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission via external partners • Ensure adherence to SOX controls and documentation standards • Drive process improvements and adoption of systems

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA) • Significant experience in multi-entity, multi-country accounting • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience • Experience managing outsourced providers • Strong understanding of SOX environments • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
