📋 Description

• Perform research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line • Work on individual pieces of work and solve problems involving program flow, coding, and unit testing • Interface with technical personnel and team members to finalize requirements • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for moderately complex system components • Understand product requirements and translate them into software designs • Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews • Operate in Agile, Waterfall, and other development environments while collaborating with stakeholders • Resolve technical issues • Keep abreast of new technology developments • Complete bug fixes • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience and/or BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required • Proficiency with data manipulation languages • Understanding of data modeling principles and ability to work with complex data models • Proficiency in development languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net • Familiarity with industry best practices, including code coverage • Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources • Ability to write and review detailed specifications for moderately complex system components • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall • Knowledge of data manipulation languages and data storage subsystems • Knowledge of test-driven development • Ability to complete moderately complex bug fixes • Good oral and written communication skills • English language
