📋 Description
• Own the product strategy and roadmap for the assigned area, from problem definition through delivery and iteration • Lead discovery with Finance, Payroll, and Operations to solve manual bottlenecks, avoid invoice errors, and build customer trust • Partner with engineering and design as a product-engineering-design triad to facilitate problem discovery and solution design • Improve how payroll cost changes, pricing adjustments, and invoice discrepancies are surfaced and resolved • Reduce escalations and rework for Operations and Payroll teams • Own the payroll-to-invoice validation layer and ensure invoices are accurate, clear, and understandable • Build a path to correct invoices without cancelling and reissuing them • Maintain an accurate single source of truth for platform pricing while supporting sales-cycle flexibility • Ensure fees and billing configuration do not break downstream invoice data
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years in product • Experience owning complex B2B SaaS or fintech products involving billing, invoicing, pricing, or financial operations • Strong product fundamentals and ability to manage the product beyond the backlog • Excellent stakeholder management skills • Concise communication skills • Experience with platform-level products involving data models, integrations, and cross-service dependencies • Ability to reason about trade-offs across product, operations, and engineering • Strong commercial instinct connecting pricing architecture, invoice accuracy, and collection timing to the P&L • Ability to define success metrics before scoping and revisit them when progress stalls • Comfort operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments and driving clarity • Experience working in a high-trust, autonomous team structure • Ability to leverage AI as a force multiplier without outsourcing judgment • Hands-on experience with ERP integrations such as Netsuite or Xero is advantageous
