📋 Description

• Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions. • Advise clients on termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes. • Lead workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, and termination outcome meetings. • Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations involving competing stakeholder interests. • Coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions, and other stakeholders on offboarding compliance and audits. • Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents while maintaining confidential employee records. • Process offboarding through Remote’s internal HRIS platform and coordinate with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams. • Serve as an informal escalation point, mentoring and guiding junior team members. • Provide first-level Employee Relations guidance and help clients navigate complex workplace scenarios. • Assess workplace concerns, identify relevant facts and regulations, and recommend paths forward. • Track employee relations cases and coordinate timely follow-up. • Resolve offboarding and first-level employee relations queries as a subject-matter expert. • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, product development, and customer and employee experience enhancements. • Determine methods, procedures, and standards for new assignments while adapting complex techniques to broader Lifecycle and Remote needs. • Report to the Manager Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions, within the Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions team.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with generalist HR competencies and exposure across the employee lifecycle. • Tertiary qualifications in HR/labour relations/employment law considered a plus. • Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity and legal compliance. • Experience providing comprehensive HR advice and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. • Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals. • Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues. • Ability to independently research, develop usable team resources, provide practical solutions, and communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. • Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills. • Business-level (advanced) proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages considered a plus. • Aptitude to innovate and optimize processes, including automation and best-practice implementation. • Efficiency in operations, thorough record-keeping, and data integrity. • Tech-savvy, able to collaborate asynchronously using various tools and adapt to evolving systems. • Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in an international, fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment while balancing competing priorities. • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. • Proactive and self-motivated with ownership and accountability. • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency. • Prior employment verification check.
