📋 Description

• Own the day-to-day financial control and reporting function for the dental business • Ensure accurate financial information, robust controls and effective cash management • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs • Produce P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports • Review financial performance across individual dental practices and analyse variances • Identify and communicate financial risks, trends and opportunities to senior management • Maintain accounting records and financial controls • Provide practice-level reporting and analysis, monitoring revenue, costs, EBITDA and profitability • Identify underperforming practices and work with Practice Managers on improvement plans • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and cash flow projections • Support scenario modelling for new practices, acquisitions, expansion and investment decisions • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, debt collection and supplier relationships • Oversee payroll processes and review payroll and clinician payment calculations • Reconcile practice management system revenue, banking, card payments, finance arrangements and accounting records • Support statutory accounts, year-end processes, VAT returns, audits, tax advisers and regulatory compliance • Provide commercial financial insight, including marketing ROI, pricing, profitability, clinician and practice performance analysis • Support business cases, acquisition modelling, new practice openings, refurbishments and expansion projects • Improve finance processes and integration between accounting and practice management systems
