📋 Description

• Develop a strong understanding of the client's SaaS platform and how it works • Understand customers' Accounts Payable processes and how they will adapt to the platform • Understand the finance systems used by customers • Design and deliver customer implementations • Prepare and set up tailored pre-sales demonstrations • Deliver demonstrations and support technical scoping as customer discussions progress • Work with the Onboarding team on setup and design requirements involving SmartSync or premium integrations such as Sage Intacct and Business Central • Build implementation plans and ensure they are executed correctly • Work with existing customers on migrations • Act as the technical lead on challenging implementations and help customers get back on track through post-installation troubleshooting • Keep the knowledge base up to date and create or update training and support articles • Scope and/or write plugins • Collaborate across Sales, Onboarding, and Support with stakeholders across the business

🎯 Requirements

• Strong IT knowledge across servers, SaaS, SQL, Windows, vibe coding, and APIs • Understanding of finance team functions • Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to listen and understand customer requirements and communicate confidently and knowledgeably • Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Strong experience managing and maintaining databases using SQL and Azure, including Azure infrastructure • Strong familiarity with Office 365, including OneDrive and SharePoint • Experience managing Windows-based environments, including services and scheduled tasks • Reasonable understanding of finance and its impact on technical systems, with ability to communicate effectively with finance teams • Experience working with APIs, particularly when integrating business-critical applications • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to researching and solving technical problems • 5–7+ years' relevant experience within Consulting, Customer Success, or Technical Support • Experience with finance systems including Sage 50, Sage 200, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Business Central • Experience with consulting and delivering projects, balancing business requirements with technical delivery, finance-team experience combined with SQL and server knowledge, or experience in finance software businesses such as Sage or Xero
