• Proactively chase overdue invoices and outstanding balances via telephone and email • Allocate and reconcile cash receipts against customer accounts accurately • Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements with customers in arrears • Produce and distribute weekly aged debt reports to senior management • Monitor credit limits and recommend credit holds where appropriate • Build positive relationships with customers while maintaining firm credit control
• 2+ years of credit control or accounts receivable experience • Confident and persistent negotiator with excellent communication skills • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for reconciliations • Results-focused with a track record of reducing debtor days • Ability to work independently and manage a large ledger from home
