📋 Description

• Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts • Investigate unmatched items and resolve them at source • Reconcile supplier and customer statements to the ledger • Post correcting journals with clear supporting notes • Flag recurring mismatches to the finance manager • Support month-end close with complete, tidy working papers • Work 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST) from home

🎯 Requirements

• One or more years in a reconciliations, bookkeeping or finance clerk role • Experience with an accounting system such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks • Confident with Excel lookups, filters and pivot tables • A methodical approach and persistence to close out differences • Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work • Exposure to multi-currency reconciliations (nice to have) • Experience with high-volume transaction environments (nice to have) • Familiarity with UK VAT basics (nice to have)
