📋 Description

‱ Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing patients via phone, email, and other communication channels. ‱ Complete new patient intake by collecting demographic, medical, insurance, and referral information. ‱ Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments while optimizing provider schedules. ‱ Verify insurance eligibility and ensure all required documentation is received prior to appointments. ‱ Obtain and upload patient records, referrals, authorizations, and consent forms. ‱ Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system. ‱ Coordinate with providers, clinical staff, and patients to ensure a smooth admissions process. ‱ Respond professionally to patient inquiries and provide updates regarding appointments and documentation. ‱ Follow up with patients to obtain missing information and confirm upcoming appointments. ‱ Ensure all patient information is entered accurately while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. ‱ Assist with administrative tasks and support the healthcare team as needed.

🎯 Requirements

‱ Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical administration, patient intake, admissions, scheduling, or a similar healthcare support role. ‱ Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. ‱ Strong customer service and telephone etiquette. ‱ Experience working with EMR/EHR systems. ‱ Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administration. ‱ Experience with insurance verification and referrals is advantageous. ‱ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). ‱ Comfortable working with multiple software platforms and learning new systems quickly. ‱ Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. ‱ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. ‱ Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
