📋 Description

• Own SEO strategy and delivery across a portfolio of agency client accounts. • Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, redirects, schema and structured data. • Lead on-page and content work including keyword and intent research, topical authority planning, metadata and internal linking at scale. • Build authority through digital PR and outreach. • Report to clients in the language of results rather than activity. • Build and lead the agency's AEO and GEO capability. • Optimise clients for visibility and recommendations in answer engines and generative results. • Improve citation potential through trusted source signals, entity SEO, structured and easily parsed data, llm.txt and AI crawler considerations. • Track and grow AI-referred visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. • Translate the fast-moving AI search field into practical strategy the agency can sell and deliver. • Plan, run and optimise Google Ads and wider PPC campaigns across client accounts. • Manage ad budgets with ownership of ROI and ROAS. • Handle bid and budget management, ad copy testing, landing page improvements and Quality Score improvement. • Manage client accounts end to end and work directly with senior client stakeholders. • Collaborate with the design and web team so search requirements are incorporated during builds rather than retrofitted.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five years in SEO, the majority of it agency side. • Demonstrable ownership of your own client accounts. • Hands-on paid search experience across Google Ads and PPC, including responsibility for real ad budgets. • Technical SEO capability, not only content and keywords. • Quantified results you can talk through and defend: organic traffic growth, visibility, rankings, conversions, revenue or return on ad spend. • Strong reporting and analysis in GA4 and Google Search Console, plus at least one of Semrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog. • Excellent written and spoken English and confidence working directly with clients. • Reliable fibre or LTE internet, a working laptop and a quiet, dedicated home workspace. • Direct AEO or GEO experience: AI Overviews, LLM visibility, entity SEO, structured data for AI parsing, brand citation signals or AI crawler analysis. • Experience across multiple markets or international clients. • Google Ads and Google Analytics certification. • Experience in a digital marketing agency that also builds websites.
