📋 Description

• Supervises the billing staff and is responsible for the proper preparation and maintenance of customer account data • Ensures accurate and timely bills to customers based on service contract terms • Coordinates the work of, supervises, coaches, and develops a team of billing employees • Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives • Sets performance standards and ensures appropriate coverage to meet service goals • Reviews performance results and makes recommendations where performance falls short • Supervises and coordinates the entry of new and updated customer contracts into the Company's systems • Acts as a resource in the research and resolution of complex billing questions and discrepancies • Participates in cross-functional approaches to credit & collections, customer service, and operations

🎯 Requirements

• 2 -4 years of related billing experience at a progressively responsible level • At least 1 year in which the incumbent supervised others or acted in a lead capacity • Ability to professionally and cooperatively interact and communicate with area and division leadership, staff, and customers • Capability to demonstrate initiative to thoughtfully and fully research and follow up on non-standard situations • Ability to effectively coach, mentor and train others to meet performance expectations • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines • Knowledge and understanding of billing transactions and processes • Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
