📋 Description
• Provide strategic leadership by guiding the organisation's strategic direction and supporting implementation of its strategy and priorities in Zambia • Provide governance oversight, including supporting appointment of the Hub Director, overseeing organisational performance, and ensuring compliance with values, policies and statutory obligations • Review and monitor annual budgets, financial performance, statutory compliance and audited financial statements • Strengthen partnerships and organisational profile through professional networks and engagement with government, development partners, the private sector and other stakeholders • Support resource mobilisation by identifying funding opportunities, making strategic introductions and promoting organisational sustainability • Attend quarterly Board meetings, the Annual Board Away Day and additional meetings as needed • Serve on a standing sub-committee and participate in meetings as required • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Hub Director and Leadership Team between Board meetings • Act as an ambassador and represent Restless Development Zambia at selected meetings, events and stakeholder engagements • Prepare for meetings, review Board papers and contribute to discussions and decision-making

• Strong professional experience • Good understanding of the Zambian development landscape • Commitment to good governance and Restless Development Zambia's vision • Strategic thinking, sound judgement and integrity • Willingness to contribute time, knowledge and experience • Commitment to accountability, transparency and ethical leadership • Ability to contribute strategic insight and strengthen the Board's governance role • Ability to expand relationships and influence across government, civil society, development partners, academia, the private sector, youth networks and other stakeholders • Expertise in one or more of: risk management and audit; finance and accounting; legal and corporate governance; resource mobilisation and strategy • Applications particularly encouraged from individuals with governing board, audit committee, finance committee or senior leadership team experience in public, private or non-profit sectors • Submit a current CV or résumé and a brief cover letter of no more than two pages
