📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for processing and managing warranty claims. • Respond to inquiries from contract holders, dealerships, and repair shops by email and phone. • Review and respond to requests regarding claim initiation and general coverage questions. • Provide a first-class service experience to internal and external customers. • Create claim files in the portal based on incoming emails. • Upload photos, invoices, and other relevant documents, then notify claims adjusters of the actions taken. • Prepare files for review and approval by a claims adjuster. • Manage a portfolio of files and ensure prompt follow-up on pending claims. • Recommend improvements to the department and its products. • Identify process improvement opportunities. • Participate in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Participate in various projects as directed by management. • Stay up to date on new products. • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure customer and dealership satisfaction. • Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by the Claims Manager.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of prior experience processing warranty claims, ideally in the automotive sector or extended service contract industry. • Fully bilingual in French and English. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision while adhering to established parameters. • Ability to type at least 25–30 words per minute. • Good knowledge of web applications and Microsoft Office. • Strong negotiation skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Positive attitude. • Strong collaborative spirit. • Availability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT). • Completed automotive technician training or equivalent experience in the automotive field. • Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics is an asset.
