• Respond to client requests for information and communication in a timely, professional manner • Conduct legal research and produce clear, accurate written work product • Prepare, fill out, and assemble immigration application forms and packets • Provide legal support to attorneys and team members across active and pending cases • Collaborate on case lists, deadlines, milestones, and case progress notes • Engage with attorneys and legal staff on case processes and legal questions • Support case managers and attorneys in moving family-based and humanitarian immigration cases forward efficiently, accurately, and compassionately
• Advanced written and spoken English and Spanish, including reading, speaking, comprehension, and writing • Strong persuasive writing and editing skills • Ability to construct and evaluate legal arguments • Analytical mindset and rigorous approach to evaluating evidence • High attention to detail • Strong time management and organizational discipline • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment • Ability to audit and update case lists of up to 40+ cases • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Comfort with learning new technology tools • Windows computer highly preferred • Must sign an independent contractor agreement • Responsible for own taxes under Mexican law • 40 project hours per week, Monday-Friday, U.S. Mountain Time
