📋 Description

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders. • Prepare construction sites by grading and leveling earth, moving materials, and digging trenches. • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. • Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team. • Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment. • Work closely with construction crews, supervisors, and other operators to coordinate tasks and achieve project objectives. • Understand and follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to accurately complete tasks. • Load, unload, and move materials as required for various construction activities. • Identify and address minor issues with equipment and work with the maintenance team for major repairs.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery in construction or related fields. • Proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment. • Strong understanding of safety procedures and construction practices. • Experience with specialized equipment (e.g., bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders). • Knowledge of environmental and regulatory compliance related to construction operations within MODOT and ARDOT. • Must successfully complete MoDOT Flagger Training Course and OSHA 10.
