📋 Description
• Develop and deliver safety training programs aligned with industry best practices and operational requirements • Establish and maintain consistent safety training standards across the mine site • Monitor industry trends, regulations, and best practices, implementing effective safety solutions where appropriate • Conduct Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) training and support effective team performance • Ensure emergency response teams are properly trained, prepared, and capable of responding to emergencies • Promote safety awareness and compliance through regular communication, training, and coaching initiatives • Conduct workplace inspections and audits to evaluate safety performance and identify potential hazards • Prepare, maintain, and review safety documentation • Investigate safety incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or a related field • Professional safety certification or designation required • Minimum of 3–5 years of safety and training management experience in a mining environment • At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience • Strong knowledge of mining health and safety regulations, legislation, and industry standards • Experience developing and delivering safety training programs • Experience with emergency preparedness and response planning • Ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment
