📋 Description

• Develop, evolve, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+). • Develop and maintain REST APIs, implementing endpoints using the main HTTP verbs (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE). • Participate in system integration by consuming and exposing APIs. • Write SQL queries and perform maintenance on relational databases, ensuring application integrity and performance. • Implement business rules, data validations, and error handling following development best practices. • Support data modeling and the evolution of the database schema when necessary. • Manage code versioning using Git, participating in branch-based development workflows and code reviews. • Participate in agile ceremonies, collaborating on planning, development and continuous delivery of features. • Assist in identifying and fixing bugs, contributing to the stability and quality of applications. • Collaborate with developers, analysts and other team members to build technical solutions. • Contribute to the technical documentation of the APIs and systems developed. • Continuously pursue technical improvement, staying up to date with best practices, development patterns and new technologies in the Node.js ecosystem.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development using JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js (versions 10, 18 or 22). • Experience developing, maintaining and evolving REST APIs. • Proficiency in creating and maintaining endpoints using main HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE). • Solid knowledge of the HTTP protocol, status codes, authentication, data serialization and communication via JSON. • Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar), including data modeling, query optimization and advanced SQL writing. • Knowledge of data modeling, relationships, indexes, normalization and queries using JOINs, GROUP BY, UNION and subqueries. • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (Git Flow or similar), including branches, pull requests, code review, merging and conflict resolution. • Experience consuming and integrating internal and third-party APIs. • Experience implementing error handling, validations, logging and backend development best practices. • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. • Ability to work autonomously on feature implementation and technical problem resolution.
