📋 Description
• Lead governance of Tableau Cloud, managing RBAC permissions, implementing RLS, and ensuring compliance, security, and least privilege • Technically approve and execute deployments of workbooks and dashboards to production • Validate squads' deliveries according to requirements and architecture guidelines • Monitor performance of Tableau Cloud and Superset environments • Identify heavy dashboards, redundant extracts, and bottlenecks, recommending or performing architectural redesigns • Issue alerts for cost offenders • Rewrite inefficient BigQuery queries and propose new data models to optimize consumption at the visualization layer • Optimize caching and manage Apache Superset's semantic layer • Ensure high availability for the company's embedded data products
🎯 Requirements
• Deep expertise in Tableau Cloud administration: Sites, Projects, user and group permissions, alerts, extract refreshes, RLS, and deployments • Knowledge of the Tableau REST API is a plus • Advanced hands-on experience with Apache Superset, datasets, semantic layer, caching with Redis/Memcached, and performance in embedded environments • Expertise in GCP and BigQuery, including query plan analysis, partitioning, clustering, cost optimization, and slot management • Proficient in multidimensional and relational data modeling • Fluent in advanced SQL, query tuning and refactoring • Familiarity with Python for API integrations and data governance automation
