📋 Description

• Act on the front line of resolving critical level 3 (L3) incidents • Ensure strict SLAs for ingestion and processing for the company’s mission-critical integrations • Provide technical leadership to stabilize the environment during data anomalies • Be available remotely outside business hours on an on-call/shift basis during mission-critical periods • Analyze and refactor inefficient analytical processes • Monitor GCP billing and optimize resource consumption, including idle BigQuery slots and jobs • Document data mappings, architectures, and troubleshooting runbooks • Promote the democratization of technical knowledge and prevent silos in the operation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem • Proficiency with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud IAM • Deep knowledge of BigQuery, including query optimization, partitioning, clustering, and cost control • Experience with orchestration and processing using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Functions • Advanced SQL fluency with a performance focus • Knowledge of Python for building and maintaining pipelines and infrastructure automations • Solid experience with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging • Experience creating custom alerts • Integration experience with ticketing tools such as Jira • Knowledge of access management using Cloud IAM • Application of the least-privilege principle in data pipelines • Availability for remote on-call/shift duty outside business hours during mission-critical moments
