📋 Description

• Apply electrical, civil/structural, or mechanical engineering principles and project management skills to carry out project tasks from start to finish. • Ensure designs meet project specifications, design requirements, and design legal guidelines and health and safety requirements. • Support the development of overhead and underground medium to extra high voltage line designs. • Maintain project’s budget, schedule, and quality requirements. • Learn and follow established company design procedures and industry standards while actively contributing to the improvement of those procedures over time. • Review project-related design documents, such as fabrication shop drawings, for completion and errors.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. (or M.E.) in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical Engineering. • 0-2+ years of engineering design experience. • Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills. • Candidate must be able to independently execute project work and be able to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment. • Candidate must be authorized for full-time work in Canada or the United States. • Experience in the utility scale renewable energy industry and/or utility scale power delivery is a plus. • Well versed in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. • Experience with applicable software packages including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or PLS-CADD, LPile, MFAD, CYMCAP, RISA, STAAD, Excel, ArcGIS, is highly beneficial, but not required.
