📋 Description

• Collaborate with project engineers, our suppliers and customers to understand and implement the requirements for each new project • Based on project requirements, develop new software modules or configure existing modules accordingly • Procure and evaluate communication interfaces from selected device manufacturers (e.g., generator controls, energy meters, PV inverters, wind turbines, etc.) • Implement communication for the above devices and ensure a cyber-secure installation • Integrate our solution into customers' existing SCADA systems • Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting for projects, including on-site when required • Use and configure our software to provide regular support to the service team as second-level support • Document project tasks

🎯 Requirements

• A completed degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification • Several years of experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, M-Bus, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104/101, OPC/UA • Several years of experience working with PLCs in an industrial environment, preferably with B&R Automation • Field experience with electrical systems (PV, wind, battery, gas gensets, backup power) is a major plus • Practical experience with TCP/IP networks (router configuration, topologies) is a major plus • Knowledge of cyber-secure systems is a plus • Excellent communication skills • Fluent in German with good command of English • Willingness to travel • Teamwork and strong communication skills; you demonstrate commitment and a sense of responsibility • Eagerness to learn and the ability to work independently are a matter of course
