📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic communications partner supporting the Avionics Communications Lead across the business. • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies supporting business priorities, product launches, customer engagement and growth initiatives. • Lead communications planning for major strategic initiatives across the Avionics portfolio. • Develop executive communications for Avionics leadership, including speeches, presentations, talking points, employee messages, media preparation and leadership visibility opportunities. • Create compelling messaging and content across earned, owned and shared channels. • Support major product launches, customer announcements, industry events and trade shows. • Manage communications plans for organizational announcements, transformation initiatives and change management efforts. • Monitor industry, competitor and policy developments and provide strategic communications recommendations to leadership. • Help prepare leaders for media interviews, executive presentations, analyst engagements and customer events. • Support issues management and crisis communications planning as needed. • Measure communications effectiveness and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience • 8+ years of communications, public relations, corporate communications or related experience. • Demonstrated experience developing executive communications and integrated communications strategies. • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills. • Strong project management and organizational abilities. • Experience advising senior leaders and working in matrixed organizations. • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and leadership levels.
