• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to support business and engineering applications. • Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments. • Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and availability of cloud environments. • Ensure cloud environments meet RTX security and compliance standards. • Automate infrastructure and cluster provisioning, upgrades, and maintenance using tools such as Helm and Terraform. • Implement and manage Kubernetes networking, including ingress controllers, service meshes, and network policies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess cloud requirements and provide solutions aligned with business objectives. • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues while maintaining high reliability and uptime. • Stay current with cloud platform updates and best practices and provide recommendations for improvements. • Document processes, policies, and procedures for cloud operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • 3+ years of experience in managing and administering Azure or AWS cloud environments with 1+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments. • Proficiency with Azure or AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and security. • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm and a strong understanding of networking principles and cloud security best practices. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices with Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Azure or AWS certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert). • Experience working in both Azure and AWS environments managing multi-cloud-based applications. • Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)). • Experience working in an aerospace or defense environment is a plus.
