• You will configure and maintain Linux HPC solutions head node, high-density compute nodes, job scheduler, virtual machines (VMs) and storage systems. • You will maintain system software and firmware revisions including patches, updates, and OS upgrades. • You will analyze, diagnose, and respond to system problems and user questions related to running jobs on the HPC cluster. • You will manage and maintain job scheduling managers Altair PBS Pro. • You will manage Altair Access User UI, including developing job templates. • You will perform analysis tool upgrades and work with users to validate. (StarCCM, LsDyna, Ansys, Abaqus FPGA/ASIC Design tools, etc.) • You will help develop and implement new technologies based on industry best practices. • You will work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. • You will monitor system health and utilization metrics.
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. • Must be a US Citizen. • 5 years’ experience as a HPC Linux System Administrator. • Experience supporting mid-large HPC Linux environments. • Experience with HPC job scheduling tools. • Understanding software tools, automated scripts, batch schedulers, hardware, and system-level troubleshooting, to support the engineering community. • Experience leading HPC projects.
