📋 Description

• Lead procurement processes, sourcing strategies, RFP development, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis activities. • Purchase goods, materials, and services while ensuring favorable commercial terms and compliance with company policies. • Prepare and manage purchase orders, pricing agreements, and procurement documentation. • Analyze supplier pricing, financial data, and market trends to support sourcing decisions and cost reduction initiatives. • Develop bid packages and evaluate supplier proposals for new business opportunities. • Monitor supplier and contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and business requirements. • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to resolve complex supply chain issues while responding to customer inquiries regarding order status, changes, and cancellations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Proactively identify, mitigate, and minimize supply chain risks to prevent production disruptions, critical line stops, and improve supplier delivery performance. • Manage supplier relationships by expediting deliveries, resolving shortages, driving continuous performance improvements, and supporting business objectives. • Prepare procurement metrics, presentations, and executive-level reports while supporting audits, recovery plans, leadership reviews, and traveling up to 10–15% as business needs require.

🎯 Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field. • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written). • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. • Prior SAP experience and procurement experience. • Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, supplier performance management, and FAR/DFAR regulations. • APICS or ISM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or CPM) are a plus.
