📋 Description

• Lead and produce Commercial pricing, forecasting, and reserving deliverables. • Set priorities for, coach, and guide direct reports to reach their potential. • Collaborate with leaders across departments (Product, Finance, Underwriting, Regulatory, Pharmacy) and with external entities (CMS, provider groups) to support shared goals. • Stay informed on healthcare and actuarial trends to ensure alignment with pricing and valuation initiatives. • Serve as a technical mentor, providing guidance and support to Actuarial Analysts.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and/or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation. • 7+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with a focus on Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development. • Proficiency in SQL or similar programming language for data manipulation and analysis. • Strong project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects. • Masters Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). • 7+ years of experience in healthcare actuarial analytics, particularly with Commercial Pricing or Valuation (preferred). • Experience certifying Commercial Rate Filings (preferred). • Familiarity with revenue methodologies across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines (preferred). • Proven experience managing independent professional staff (preferred).
