📋 Description
• Build and scale data pipelines for product events, usage data, and customer datasets • Develop analytics infrastructure using Kafka, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL • Own data models, KPI definitions, and metric layers powering dashboards and product features • Build reliable ingestion processes for structured and messy customer-provided datasets • Ensure privacy-first data practices through anonymisation, pseudonymisation, and tenant-level controls • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to make data accessible, trusted, and actionable • Operate the data foundation powering Saga’s analytics capabilities • Take data pipelines from proof of concept to production scale • Build systems supporting analytics across Saga’s growing customer base
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of experience as a dedicated Data Engineer in Analytics • Strong SQL and Python skills • Experience with analytics databases, preferably ClickHouse • Experience with streaming pipelines, including Kafka • Strong data modelling skills across OLTP and OLAP systems • Experience building KPI/metric layers • Experience working with analytics sources such as PostHog • Strong understanding of privacy engineering and GDPR requirements • Candidates currently based in the Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, Poland or Romania are prioritised • Must be willing to be hired as a contractor
