• Exceed quarterly and annual revenue quota goals • Address customer and partner inquiries with accurate information and tailored solutions • Develop business plans aligned with the assigned territory • Engage strategically with customers and business partners to maintain high customer service • Collaborate with marketing on partner and end-user marketing plans • Pursue supplied leads and maintain accurate internal system records • Lead technical resources in demonstrating SailPoint’s advantages • Follow up with customers and coordinate with the post-sale team for ongoing account coverage and new sales opportunities • Own the full sales cycle, including qualification, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing • Build deep knowledge of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors • Communicate competitive product and technology strategies in the SailPoint market • Manage discussions across business and technical customer stakeholders • Use channel management and reporting tools, including accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene • Establish customer, account, partner, territory, opportunity, pipeline, marketing, and channel plans during the first six months • Lead an operating cadence with a virtual team and build pipeline worth 2–3 times target • Refine go-to-market messaging against Microsoft and Okta, including partner benefits and pricing challenges
• Skilled communicator in first engagements and discovery calls • Ability to analyze prospect needs and qualify opportunities • Proficiency in understanding and presenting SailPoint solutions • Ability to competitively position SailPoint against Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt • Ability to provide a superior customer experience • Ability to lead virtual teams of partner resources, presales, partner managers, deal desk, professional services, BVA, and customer success • Team-based selling approach • Ability to take initiative, prepare teams, assign accountability, and drive follow-through • Ability to create territory and opportunity plans • Ability to work with leadership to refine sales strategies • Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business, or sales-related field • Approximately 50% business travel yearly • Experience with Salesforce and Clari hygiene, forecasting, and updates • Ability to achieve SailPoint enablement badges, including the “1st Mate” and Captains badges
